I installed the unit yesterday and I was surprised how slow and quietly it ran. My first concern was the barracuda might not run because of the lower suction, but to my delight it was fine and if anything was not getting tangled up as much. My big surprise was when I back washed the filter, I had read your notes that said it would improve the filtration but I thought that was just a sales pitch. Then I back washed and I have had the pool for 7 years and I have never seen the back wash so black and for so long, it was amasing. I am keen to see the effect on the power bill and as our last reading was 27/01/11 and I installed it on the 4/2/11 it will be a good indication on my next account due about 28/4/11.
Hope to get my next door neighbor interested in one.
